Talks
Talks on the frontiers, fractures, futures, edges and limits of the American World. I am an avid Danish and international speaker and panelist. Over more than two decades, I have talked at everything from universities, embassies, ministries, military academies, and private companies, to art museums, film festivals, and public libraries.
I give talks on American frontiers, fantasies, and technologies, and on why the American Right, from MAGA to Musk and Silicon Valley, has turned its gaze to Greenland, the Arctic and Space.

The current rush for Greenland has come as a shock to most. I help audiences understand the actors and outlooks that collide around the ice, the grounds, and the skies of the Arctic. European and American. Western and indigenous. Economic and environmental.
About Vibeke
I am a political scientist by training, but an anthropologist at heart. Over more than twenty years, and from museums to mines or military camps, I have travelled the regions and landscapes that shape our profoundly American world. Visual and empirical, yet with an eye for the history and ideas that move beneath, my talks attempt to bring their audience to the places and spaces, where the future of technology, ecology and democracy are contested.
